Single Night Workshop for any parent or caregiver of children who identify as girls ages 5-12. This evening will be a distillation / summary of topics and themes covered in the long-form class of the same title and offers a supportive community for those who feel challenged by the demands of parenting their grade-school girl, those who are curious about the current evidence- based information about girls’ development, and/or who are interested in strategies for building and maintaining a strong parent/child dynamic with an eye to middle school and beyond. May include information on supporting healthy friendships, mental health, body image & puberty, managing media and technology, responding constructively to sass, snark, and sulking, or other topics depending on the interests and questions of parents present.
